Wasteland 24/7 Shadow stick on waterlines, upper & lower lashline

Smoked Teal w/ UD 15th Anniversary

I am always trying to find ways to tone down bright colors.  I am also always trying to find ways to use matte black shadow, since I have like 19 of them.  It seems they come in every palette from UD, KVD & the like :)  This look kinda merged both of those quests.

UDPP
Deep End on the lid
Ace on the outer corner & on lower lashline
Vanilla on browbone & inner corner
A few grains of Blackout in the crease

Retro Flower Mani/Pedi w/ Off Broadway Nail Wraps

I found these at Walgreens for half off so I decided to try them out.  They are labeled as nail wraps, but really they are just large flexible stickers.  They aren't the same as the Sally Hansen ones because they aren't made of nail polish.  The stickers remind me of the flexible thin, almost latex ish water slide decals for your nails.  Anyway, these were fairly easy to apply.  I used Essie Feed Me as a base, then applied the sticker.  Because the stickers are flexible I kind of adheared it to the base of my nail, then stretched it over the rest & pressed it down.  I did end up with a few wrinkles, which didn't bother me at first but proved to be the undoing of my pretty stickers!  It came with a small file to remove the excess from the top of the nail (which I kept and used on my toes!).  I then used Posh as a top coat, same method for my toes.  On my toes I had to do quite a bit of trimming with nail scissors to make them the right size to fit.  Overall I was pleased with these on my toes, not so much my hands.  My manicure lasted a whopping 22 hours before the wrinkles cracked and started to peal.  Also the decal started to lightly peel up at the edges & would get caught in my hair.  I'm not sure if I didn't get it stuck down well enough or if the topcoat pulled it up.  I didn't have any wrinkles on my toes & they lasted over a week :)  I think these are fun for a special day but this particular brand & style don't last on the fingernail.  I have some Sally Hansen ones waiting in the wings for review.  We'll see how those fair comparitively.

These pics were taken 2 days after application.  All pics are clickable to make larger :)

Neutral Taupe w/ Urban Decay 15th Anniversary

I love how the shades in this palette can be manipulated by layering them.  By using Midnight 15 as a base, it sofetened/lightened the depth & pulled both the brown/bronze shades into a taupey look.
UDPP
Midnight 15 lash to brow
Deeper on the lid
MIA in crease
Midnight 15 on lashline
Virgin (f/Naked) on browbone
Wasteland 24/7 Shadow stick on lower lashline & waterlines

I was feeling the dark broody thing...

Soft Neutrals w/ Urban Decay 15th Anniversary

This was my first look with the palette.  I have always loved UD's neutral shadows, in fact I always thought neutrals were boring and bland on me until I discovered Mushroom in the Book of Shadows! :)  Anyway here's what I used:

UDPP
Midnight 15 lash to brow
Chase on the outter 2/3 of lid
Deeper in the crease
Rehab 24/7 Shadow Stick on lower lashline, waterlines & upper outer 1/3

Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette Swatches

I just love Urban Decay's eyeshadows and this palette is a knock out. They are all incredibly pigmented & soft.  Here's swatches!

Left to Right:
Midnight Rodeo~ Metallic light taupe w/ glitter, it doesn't have terrible fall out & is actually easy to use
Midnight 15~ light metallic nude w/ microfine gltter, virtually zero fall out
Vanilla~ ivory w/ yellow gold pearlized sheen
Flow~ pale peach with white sheen
Chase~ light sunlit bronze, just as rich as Baked, but the base color is lighter, less yellow
Tainted~ medium thistle matte that developes a slight golden pearl when buffed.  This color is crazy unique and awesome!
Junkshow~ hot pink w/ blue pearl.  This color is fairly sheer but easily buildable. I love it!
Omen~ Medium lavender w/ blue pearl.  This looks like the pressed version of Morphine 24/7 stick.
Evidence~ sooty black base with blue shimmer finish.
Deep End~ Incredibly rich teal w/ blue green shimmer

Left to Right:
Evidence
Deep End
Deeper~ Dark golden brown shimmer
M.I.A~ Deep bronze brown shimmer
Ace~ Charcoal metallic shimmer
Blackout~ Black matte, this one is a little stiff, but applies well
Half Truth~ gorgeous cool toned purple w/ silver metallic shimmer

I have a boatload of looks that I've been doing with this palette to post later this week :)
