Smoked Teal w/ UD 15th Anniversary
I am always trying to find ways to tone down bright colors. I am also always trying to find ways to use matte black shadow, since I have like 19 of them. It seems they come in every palette from UD, KVD & the like :) This look kinda merged both of those quests.

Deep End on the lid
Ace on the outer corner & on lower lashline

Neutral Taupe w/ Urban Decay 15th Anniversary
I love how the shades in this palette can be manipulated by layering them. By using Midnight 15 as a base, it sofetened/lightened the depth & pulled both the brown/bronze shades into a taupey look.

Midnight 15 lash to brow
Deeper on the lid

Soft Neutrals w/ Urban Decay 15th Anniversary
This was my first look with the palette. I have always loved UD's neutral shadows, in fact I always thought neutrals were boring and bland on me until I discovered Mushroom in the Book of Shadows! :) Anyway here's what I used:

Midnight 15 lash to brow
Chase on the outter 2/3 of lid
Deeper in the crease
Rehab 24/7 Shadow Stick on lower lashline, waterlines & upper outer 1/3

Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette Swatches
I just love Urban Decay's eyeshadows and this palette is a knock out. They are all incredibly pigmented & soft. Here's swatches!
Left to Right:
Midnight Rodeo~ Metallic light taupe w/ glitter, it doesn't have terrible fall out & is actually easy to use
Midnight 15~ light metallic nude w/ microfine gltter, virtually zero fall out
Vanilla~ ivory w/ yellow gold pearlized sheen
Flow~ pale peach with white sheen
Chase~ light sunlit bronze, just as rich as Baked, but the base color is lighter, less yellow
Tainted~ medium thistle matte that developes a slight golden pearl when buffed. This color is crazy unique and awesome!
Junkshow~ hot pink w/ blue pearl. This color is fairly sheer but easily buildable. I love it!
Omen~ Medium lavender w/ blue pearl. This looks like the pressed version of Morphine 24/7 stick.
Evidence~ sooty black base with blue shimmer finish.
Deep End~ Incredibly rich teal w/ blue green shimmer
Left to Right:

Deep End
Deeper~ Dark golden brown shimmer
M.I.A~ Deep bronze brown shimmer
Ace~ Charcoal metallic shimmer
Blackout~ Black matte, this one is a little stiff, but applies well
Half Truth~ gorgeous cool toned purple w/ silver metallic shimmer
I have a boatload of looks that I've been doing with this palette to post later this week :)

On Trend w/ Allure: Hot Pink Peepers
I saw in last month's Allure magazine that hot pink & red shadows were all the rage on the Spring runways. Definately not a run of the mill spring look and totally outside of 90% of the general public's comfort zone. Since I'm a freak and own a hundred eyeshadows in every color of the rainbow just cuz I think they're pretty, I gave it a go :)
Original UDPP, MAC Shroom lash to brow, Urban Decay Woodstock applied in a gradient of wash of color on the lid getting heaviest on the outter > & crease. Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Perversion on lashlines & waterlines. Maybelline Falsies Black Drama topped with Cover Girl LashBlast Length in Very Black.

Delinquents like Morphine & Shrooms
I recently picked up the new Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencils. Of course the first ones I just HAD to play with were the purples, Morphine & Delinquent. These shadow pencils are absolutely unbelievable! I have very oily lids, thus you will see that I always use a primer. These little wonders actually lasted about 7 hours on my lid before creasing WITHOUT PRIMER! With primer, the wear time is ridiculous. It was still there until I took it off with make up remover 24 hours later! They're super creamy and pigmented, but don't offer much play time for blending. I found that with this particular combo the best blending method was to use the pencil itself to smudge into the other color, kind of layering them on that blend line until it looked good. Is that vague enough for you? LOL Morphine has some serious blue flash/duochrome that made this really difficult to photograph!
UD 24/7 Shadow Pencil in Morphine on entire lid, UD 24/7 Shadow Pencil in Delinquent on waterlines, lower lashline, outer lid & crease. The Morphine base really put a blue shift to Delinquent. Delinquent on its own is a royal purple shimmer with plum glitter in it.

Going Bold w/ Urban Decay Book of Shadows 3
I'm a huge Urban Decay fan and I was lucky enough to have a friend pick one up during the presale at Sephora New York in August! So I've had a long time to play with this baby :) Here is one of my favorite looks using this glorious box of shadows:
Original UDPP. Kush on the inner half of the lid, Radium on the outer half of the lid, Perversion lightly in the crease. UD 24/7 Liner in Binge on waterlines. MAC Blanc Type on browbone. Bare Escentuals Buxom Mascara in Blackest Black.

Metallic Smoky Eyes
This was the look I did for my best friend's 30th birthday party.
Original UD PP. MAC Blanc Type lash to brow. MAC Pro Pigment in Platinum on the lid. Urban Decay Matte Perversion in the crease. Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Perversion on waterlines. Maybelline Falsies Black Drama mascara topped with Cover Girl LashBlast Lenth in Very Black.

An Ode to the Sun
The sun finally decided to show its lovely face again and it inspired me for this look. I was dying to find a way to use my MAC Paparazz She shadow! Here's the skinny on what I used:
Original Urban Decay Primer Potion as a base. Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencil in Lit all over the lid. MAC Straw Harvest on lid over UD Lit. MAC Paparazz She in the crease. MAC Pro Pigment in Copper in outer corners & dragged into crease a little. MAC Femme Fi to highlight browbone & blend. Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Lucky on lower lashline & waterlines.
